Accessibility at The Festival

The Festival and all activities except the Craft Cinema are on level ground. There are 4 steps up to the cinema which is hosted in a 1967 Bedford Bus. There are no ramps or steps into the marquees. Entrance/exit points are protected with rubber matting.  (However it is worth bearing in mind that parts of the festival are on grass which can get muddy in severe weather).

Parking on Mill Marsh Park is reserved for disabled badge holders and people of limited mobility.    Visitors may also be dropped opposite the ticket desks and given seating under cover until they are reunited with their driver.  Seating is available around the festival site.

Concession tickets are available for Senior Citizens and those in reciept of benefits. Carers are admitted free of charge. Guide & Hearing dogs may be taken into all parts of the festival.

Disabled toilets are provided.

Mobility Scooters 

We are using the services of Newton Abbot Community Transport Association who will be supplying mobility scooters to hire at the event . There is limited availability and must be booked in advance. If you would like to book a scooter, please email Kay Yendall on and she will take your booking.


Bovey Tracey is only 2 miles off the A38 Exeter to Plymouth Expressway.


Exit the A38 at Drumbridges Roundabout and follow signs to Bovey Tracey town centre.


Follow the AA signs to The Contemporary Craft Festival.


Free parking on Mill Marsh Park for blue badge holders and visitors with limited mobility.  Access via St Johns Lane.

All other free parking off Le Molay Littry Way (B3344) with free Park & Ride service.   Park & Ride service every day from 10am - 5pm. Follow the AA signs.

Nearest train station Newton Abbot. Regular buses from Exeter, Torquay and Newton Abbot stop at Bovey Tracey.

Dogs at The Craft Festival

We welcome dogs at the Craft Festival, but only guide and hearing dogs may enter the marquees.
